Hello! I’m Noelle Ward, the person behind digitalscapes.ca. If you’re here, you probably play World of Warcraft or are at least curious about it. Same here—I’ve been a part of this game’s story since 2006, and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
I created this site as a place to share useful tips, detailed guides, honest reviews, and current news—all written from a player’s point of view. I play every patch, test every change, and write every word myself. This isn’t a team-run site or something outsourced. It’s personal, and that’s how I like it.
My WoW Journey
My first character was a Night Elf Druid. I rolled it on a whim because I liked the way Teldrassil looked. I had no clue what I was doing, but I was hooked. I didn’t start raiding until Burning Crusade, and even then, I was the kind of player who got lost in the city more than once.
Over the years, I’ve played almost every class. Right now, I main a Human Paladin and keep a few alts ready for Mythic+ and PvP. I’ve been in casual and semi-hardcore guilds, led raid teams, and helped new players learn the ropes. I’ve seen this game change a lot, and I still find reasons to log in every week.
What You’ll Find on My Site
I focus on content that players can use right away. No fluff, no filler—just helpful info written in a way that’s easy to follow. Whether it’s a patch breakdown, a leveling route, or a Mythic+ guide, I try to keep it honest and up to date.
Every article is tested in-game. If something changes, I update it. If I make a mistake, I fix it. I don’t just pull data from other sites—I actually play the game and use my experience to shape the content. This is what makes digitalscapes.ca different.
Where I’m From
I live in Richmond Hill, Ontario, a short drive north of Toronto. I work from home, which lets me split my time between writing, playing, and responding to readers. I’ve always enjoyed quiet neighborhoods, and this one gives me just enough space to think, write, and game in peace.
My office setup is simple: two monitors, a headset with a mic that actually works, and a cat named Tyrande who likes to nap beside my keyboard. If you’ve ever seen typos in my guides, she might be the reason.
Why I Do This
I run this site because I care about the game and the people who play it. I know what it’s like to be confused by patch notes, lost in a dungeon, or stuck grinding for something that never drops. I’ve been there, and I want to help make the game more enjoyable for anyone who visits my site.
There’s no big company behind digitalscapes.ca. No paid sponsorships. Just me, playing the game, writing about it, and sharing what I know with other players. If you find something here that helps you, then it’s worth it.
Outside of WoW
When I’m not writing or playing, I like reading, walking in Mill Pond Park, and trying new cafés around town. I read a lot of sci-fi and mystery novels and sometimes take short breaks to play other games like Diablo IV or indie RPGs. But WoW is the one I always come back to.
I also believe in keeping the online space kind and welcoming. I moderate comments and emails to make sure this site stays safe for everyone who visits, whether they’re new to the game or have been around since Vanilla.
Let’s Stay in Touch
I enjoy hearing from readers. Whether you have a question about a class, want to suggest a guide, or just want to share something cool you found in-game—reach out.
